Water skills prerequisite testing Friday, June 11 at noon prior to registering for the class.
Recertification–Wednesday, June 16-Friday, June 18, 7:30-10:30 a.m.
New Certification–Monday, June 14-Friday, June 18 7:30-10:30 a.m.
AED / CPR Class 1 evening, 6-9 p.m. (To Be Announced–either Wed or Thur)
Candidates will need to be able to:
- Swim 300 yards continuously with either the breast stroke or American crawl, or a combination of both.
- Tread water with your hands in your armpits using just your legs for two minutes.
- swim 20 yards, surface dive 10 feet for a 10-pound brick, and while holding the brick with both hands, swim on our back only kicking to get to the wall where you need to exit the pool in under a minute and 40 seconds.
7 hours blended online learning also required.
